Spongy Moon
Hyperion, one of the moons of Saturn, looks like a sponge in this recent image from the Cassini spacecraft. Hyperion's density is low, indicating that, like a sponge, it may be fairly porous. While this image was shot from a range of more than 100,000 miles, Cassini will get a much better view of Hyperion on Monday, when it will fly about 300 miles above its surface.
