Comet C/2001 Q4 (NEAT) streaks around the Sun in this recent image from the WIYN telescope at Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona. The comet passed closest to Earth in early May. Although NEAT has not been as bright as originally predicted, it has been visible in the evening sky through binoculars or telescopes. [Credit: T. Rector, Z. Levay, L. Frattare, WIYN/NOAO/AURA/NSF]
