Future Splendor
An artist's concept shows how a growing stellar nursery in the constellation Cassiopeia may look to stargazers on Earth in 100,000 years or so. The nebula is the colorful cloud at lower right, off one point of the "M" formed by Cassiopeia's brightest stars. The nebula will outshine the Orion Nebula, which currently is the biggest and brightest in Earth's skies. [David Aguilar/CfA]
