Passing the Giants
The crescent Moon will sweep past the planet Jupiter and the star Antares this week. Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system, while Antares is a supergiant star. They are low in the southwest as twilight begins to fade. You may need binoculars to help pick out the star and planet. [Credit: Tim Jones]
