Fact Sheet
Geminid Meteors
The Geminid meteor shower peaks on the night of December 13. There is little moonlight to interfere with the fireworks, so it should be a pretty good show. Although the Geminids all appear to "rain" from the direction of Gemini, the twins, the meteors can streak across any portion of the sky, so you don't need to look toward Gemini to see them.
