Fact Sheet
Another Day, Another Moon
After skimming past Titan on Tuesday, the Cassini spacecraft snapped this image of Saturn's moon Tethys from a distance of about 160,000 miles (255,000 km) on Thursday. While Titan has a thick atmosphere, Tethys has no atmosphere at all. Its icy surface is scarred by big impact craters. Cassini will make several closer passes by Tethys during its four-year mission, providing even sharper pictures of the moon. [Credit: NASA/JPL]
