Fact Sheet
Red-Eye Special
The largest storm in the solar system is Jupiter's Great Red Spot, a system wide enough to swallow two Earths side by side. It was first seen in the late 1600s, and it continues to churn today. This Galileo image also shows smaller storms and wind currents surrounding the Great Red Spot.
