Fact Sheet
Jovian System
The planet Jupiter (top center) shines brightly in the morning sky this week, near even-brighter Venus. Binoculars reveal Jupiter's four largest moons as tiny "stars" near the planet. This composite image of the Jovian system, compiled from photos snapped by Voyager 1, shows the moons Io (left), Europa (center), Ganymede (bottom center), and Callisto (bottom right).
