Fact Sheet
Destination: Tethys
The Cassini spacecraft will fly past Tethys, one of the moons of Saturn, tomorrow. The moon is shown here against the backdrop of Saturn and its beautiful rings. The surface of the little moon is heavily cratered, indicating that it has undergone a heavy bombardment from asteroids, comets, or other moons during its long lifetime. [NASA/JPL/SSI]
