Fact Sheet
Seeing Green
A brilliant green aurora glows below the International Space Station in this recent view. Recent activity on the surface of the Sun has produced bright auroral displays this month. Some of the station's electricity-producing solar panels are visible as thin bands near the top of the picture. [NASA/JSC/Image Science and Analysis Laboratory]
