Fact Sheet
Craters Galore
Hundreds of impact craters scar the icy surface of Rhea, one of the moons of Saturn, in this November 26 image from the Cassini spacecraft. A large, old crater fills the center of the image, although it is so big that only a portion of its rim is visible. Many more craters and mounds fill its interior. A streak at lower right may be a crack caused by motions in Rhea's crust. The picture was snapped from a distance of just 385 miles (620 km). [Credit: NASA/JPL/SSI]
